📒 FEATURE · DAILY REPORTS

The daily report that writes itself during the day.

Log a meal in the kitchen, a nap at nap time, a diaper at the change table. By pickup, each child's day is already a story their parents can read.

A day of moments, captured as they happen

Eight entry types cover the whole day: meals, naps, diapers, bathroom, activities, mood, medication, and notes.

9:15 AM

Tap "Everyone" for snack

One entry logs the morning snack for every child at once. Add per-child details only where they differ.

12:40 PM

Naps log themselves forward

Start nap when heads hit pillows, end it when they wake. The duration is calculated for you.

4:30 PM

Share at pickup

Share the report and parents get an email with their child's day. Edit after sharing and the feed updates live, with changes labelled.

THE EVENING TEST

No more daily sheets after dinner .

Providers tell us the daily sheets were the last thing standing between pickup and their own evening. Logging as you go means the report is done when the day is, not at 9 PM.

HOW YOU SOLVE IT IN CUBBYBOOK

A shared report before pickup, in four steps

Exactly how it works in the app, with the real buttons named.

  1. 1

    Record attendance first

The Daily Logs screen lists every child with attendance for the day: one card per child, ready for entries.

  2. 2

    Log moments as they happen

Eight entry types cover the day. For group moments, the Everyone button records one shared entry across the children you pick, and you can still adjust one child's meal amount without splitting the entry.

    Everyone
  3. 3

    Add photos PRO

Attach up to 10 photos per report (with the child's photo consent switched on). Parents with photo permission see them in the report and their gallery.

  4. 4

    Share with the family

One tap moves the log from Draft to Shared: each guardian set to receive daily reports gets an email, and the report lands on their feed. Edit later and they see the update live, clearly labelled.

    Share with {child}'s family

What you end up with: every family gets their child's day (meals, naps, activities) before they've buckled the car seat, and your evening stays yours.
